Verallia Portugal sponsored the ceremony “Wines the Tejo Awards”
The ceremony that took place in São Francisco Convent, in Santarém, last 7th March and Verallia Portugal was official sponsor.
The Comissão Vitivinícola Regional do Tejo organized in partnership with the Confraria Enófila de Nossa Senhora do Tejo and with Support of Town Council of Cartaxo, the VI edition of the Bottled Wine Competition of Tejo (CVET), which featured 31 producers and with a total of 124 wines to the test.
The competition took place on 5th and 6th February 2015 in Museu Rural e do Vinho do Cartaxo and was intended to promote the Tejo Wines brand, stimulate the production of quality of wines, as well as promoting the best wines produced in the region.
In this contest, were awarded 21 producers with 47 wines award-winning, which resulted in 10 silver medals, 33 gold medals and two medals of Excellence.
All awards were presented during the Gala accompanied by catalogs 2015 Selective Line premium brand of Verallia, with informative leaflet about news and innovations of this year that will surely arouse the curiosity of the present producers such as the Fluorescent Glass, Virtual Glass 3D application available free from the App Store, the ECOVA range that preserves the environment and new trends 2016 by Selective Line.
The commercial of this region, Fernando Pombo, handed the trophies of the Tejo Gourmet, of the Best Rosé and of the Best White.
During dinner, the Verallia presented one of their innovations, financed with the community funds within project the I&DT, 3D application - Virtual Glass through the promotional video, which attracted the attention of all those present.
Several bottles with a unique and seductive design and decorations by Selective Line were present with a beautiful flower in, and near the best wines of Tejo.
All innovations, like fluorescent glass were present at the dining room entrance, was aroused the curiosity of many thanks to innovative format and the brightness of the bottles to be in contact with black light.
The dinner was attended by approximately 300 people and with a glamour menu accompanied by a pleasant environment.
The year 2015 still going at the beginning and the Verallia Portugal already has several surprising events, a brand that seeks to assert itself for quality, innovation, differentiation, and proximity to their producers.
