Verallia Portugal present in "Six Time of Tea" by Cerebral Palsy Association of Coimbra
On April 6th, Célia Carrasqueiro, Director of Human Resources and Communication in Verallia Portugal shared good practice with the Cerebral Palsy Association of Coimbra (APCC).
In 2015, the 40th anniversary of the APCC led the event "Tea Six" were played by pioneers of the Association: the first users, the first direction, the first technical, the first teachers, the first parents.
In 2016, the Volunteer Office - organizing these sessions - decided to look out from inside and asked for the cooperation of other departments to find other topics and guests.
In Cerebral Palsy Rehabilitation Center, employees, users and volunteers APCC could hear Celia Carrasqueiro talk about experiences such as creating an internal gym, individual coaching actions and teamwork, cultural and sports activities, laughter yoga sessions and several others that allowed the Verallia Portugal get the Healthy Workplaces Award by the Portuguese Psychologists. This award aims to recognize and distinguish the Portuguese organizations with outstanding and innovative contributions to the safety, well-being and health (physical and psychological) in the workplace.
Thus, Verallia Portugal reinforces its commitment to the local community by sharing examples of good practice.
