Verallia Design Awards Final 2016/2017
Adriana Ferreira – ‘30’ bottle presentation
The Great Final of Verallia Design Awards was held in Paris on the 30th of November, counting with the presence of Verallia Portugal, which was represented by the project named “30”, by Adriana Ferreira, student of Design at ESEC (Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra.
The 4th Edition of Verallia Design Awards had the purpose of presenting projects focusing on wine bottles.
The cerimony has presented all the prized projects from all Verallias all over the world, on which Italy was the winner of the 1st Award, with the project “De Fiasco”.
Along with this outstanding international highlight, some of the projects continue to be displayed in Portugal, more specifically at Alma Shopping, at Coimbra city.
There were presented projects from ESEC students who participated on the last edition of Verallia Design Awards, wich took place on CAE (Centro de Artes e Espetáculos) on the 23rd of june of 2017 at Figueira da Foz.
”Wood”, by Tiago Filipe da Silva Antunes, “Donzela”, by Joana Ferreira dos Santos, “Regresso ao Passado”, by Bartolomeu Rodrigues, “D’Ouro” by Rafael Sousa Dias and “Nuntia”, by João Marcelo Patrício Morais were the displayed projects.
These works were projected with poliestiren 3D prototypes made by students from Art and Design from ESEC (Escola Superior de Educação do Instituto Politécnico de Coimbra).
Verallia Design Awards contest is a structure that will continue to grow, offering unique opportunities to students.
Once again, Verallia Portugal congratulates all students who have participated on this challenge, which celebrates almost 5 years. This year’s theme is “Olive Oil”, and applications are already being accepted HERE.
