Verallia Academy – Being Leader in Verallia
Following the work carried out over the years at Verallia, it was detected the need of undertake an intensive course about Leadership, called “The News Leaders” aimed to technicians that had embraced in Verallia project, and/or embraced some time ago a chief position, in order to create a future more sophisticated and effective in the news Verallia Leaders.
A bet and an investment on the youngest, a team composed by 14 persons, promising chiefs, in the new generation of Verallia. The people selected are in the line of succession and others, due to the job and its importance, also influence the colleagues and can help to lead. For the new prospects of 2017, all training of Verallia Academy is based on the Conduct Code of being Leader in Verallia Portugal, based in turn of the 9 Principles of Conduct and Acting. This code inserts in the Integration and Commitment with enterprise values, with Coaching (Personal development and leadership skills development).
Thereby, about Program Contents, it is propose the following themes and work methodology:
Emotional Metaphors – Course Opening; Theories of Personality - Knowledge of the various approaches of the personality in way to sensitize the trainee in a global way, encouraging the reflection and ways of "reading" the other one taking into account several prisms. Neurological notions of the Brain and Situational Leadership of Hersey and Blanchard – Case Studies. Maturity Levels of Teams, Types of Leadership – Maturity of teams. Emotional Team Management – Case Studies, Group and Team, Phases of build a team, to lead teams with high performance, to lead difficult projects and situations.
Generic Concepts of Human Resources - Integration of new people and their monitoring, Performance evaluation. Daniel Goleman's Emotional Leadership - Case Studies. Meeting Management - Case Studies and Simulations. Generative or Transformational Leadership - Individual and group dynamics.
