Sociedade de Água de Luso awarded with environmental certification
The Luso Water Society (Sociedade da Água de Luso - SAL) was awarded with the ISO 14001: 2015 Certification, a standard that certifies the best environmental practices, awarded by the Portuguese Certification Association (APCER).
The certification reflects SAL's commitment to sustainability, from the preservation and conservation of Nature and Biodiversity in the Serra do Buçaco, protecting and valuing the natural and natural heritage of Luso, where Luso Natural Mineral Water is born, the bottling cycle and distribution.
The Luso Water Society, founded in 1852, based in the town of Luso and municipality of Mealhada, has as main activity the exploration and bottling of LUSO Natural Mineral Water, Cruzeiro Água de Nascente and Human Consumption and also exploration of the activity Thermal baths through the Termas de Luso.
"This certification makes us proud, by demanding the entire process, which attests SAL's good practices and reinforces our commitment to the environment and community. It is a recognition of the work carried out in favor of environmental improvement and performance, "says Nuno Pinto de Magalhães, Director of Communication and Institutional Relations of the SCC Group.
