Premium ranges gives the best ever invoicing to Ervideira
Ervideira sold fewer 100,000 bottles than last year, but the turnover achieved the best result ever with the sale of 500,000 bottles and a turnover of more than 2 million euros.
The bet made in own stores has been successful with the 3 wine shops - the winery, the units in Évora and in Reguengos de Monsaraz that already represent 20% of the total turnover of the company. "This channel has proved very important not only because it is a direct channel with the final consumer, but also because of the volume it represents today in the total annual billing. In addition, it is a great marketing vehicle for the brand. It will be a channel where we will continue to bet”, said Duarte Leal da Costa, executive director of Ervideira. The bets in premium and super premium range also have an impact on these positive results, these categories increase sales in detriment of standard lines. Ervideira aims to have the super premium range (Conde D'Ervideira) represent more than 50% of the billing in 2017.
