José Maria da Fonseca launches AVIS RARA sweet white wine
Avis Rara 2016, the new sweet wine from José Maria da Fonseca has hit the market.
From the latim Avis Rara [aviʃˈrarɐ] – person or thing, rare and unique, uncommon, exceptional. This wine reflects its own essence on the name. The bird on the package label (Avis) represents rarity. The Abelharuco is a bird that can be spotted on Arrábida Mountain Range. With floral scents, rose, orange flower and mature apricot with a fresh, elegant and soft aftertaste, Avis Rara is ideal to match with fish and shellfish, or simply served as an appetizer.
Varieties: 50% Moscatel de Setúbal and 50% of Fernão Pires
