José da Maria da Fonseca wants to expand export markets in 2019
José Maria da Fonseca plans to expand in 2019 to Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, was recently announced by company in press release.
The company's main export markets in 2018 were Brazil, Sweden, Italy, Canada, Italy, Canada and the USA. China, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands were also markets where the company recorded sales growth.
"The future in our exports involves the continuous work of exploring and expanding the representation of our brands in existing markets, but also by expanding to new markets," says Renata Abreu, José Maria da Fonseca's export director, adding: "We plan to expand us to Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East, since we are producers of non-alcoholic wines and we can have a differentiating offer in markets where there are restrictions on the consumption of alcoholic beverages.
"Periquita, Lancers and Albis (brand of wine exclusively sold in Canada) were the three most exported brands in 2018 by José Maria da Fonseca.
