Dux Beer is the name of the new artisan beer that will be officially launched in the Portuguese market on the 1st of October. The duo composed by José Miguel Faia and Pedro Domingos is responsible for the production of this beer presented in bottles of 75cl manufactured in Verallia Portugal.
Dux Beer is produced in Coimbra and in October 1st José Miguel Faia and Pedro Domingos will make the official presentation of the three varieties - pilsner, stout and weiss - of this artisan beer. The public presentation will be made in bottles of 75cl manufactured in Verallia Portugal, and the perspective is in the near future be able to provide this drink other formats.
Made from 100% natural products, this beer is not filtered or pasteurized, no preservatives or colorings and the natural gas (CO2) is obtained from the yeast fermentation.
The name Dux is closely related to the city of Coimbra and its academic traditions, since Dux Veteranorum is the maximum exponent of academic life and the chief of the students. Similarly these two producers want the Dux Beer to be a leader in Portugal in the sector of artisan beers.
