Caves São João - 93 Anos de História Red 2011
93 Anos de História Red 2011 is the name of the fourth wine from a collection of 11 unique bottles which mark celebrations of the centenary (in 2020) of the Caves São João. Within these celebrations these cellars, from Anadia, decided to present every year between 2010 and 2020 , a wine that signals an achievement of the history of humankind.
The first wine - 90 Anos de História Reserv 2007 - released in 2010, alluding to the decade of 1920/1930, celebrated the 1st feature-length of cinema with dialogue synchronization, "The Jazz Singer". In 2011 was launched the 91 Anos de História Brut 2007 whose theme was based on the radio broadcast of Orson Welles on the fictional Martian invasion elapsed in the decade of 1930/1940.
The red wine 92 Anos de História was released in 2012 and marked the signature of the United Nations Charter, an event elapsed in the decade of 1940/1950. In 2013 was the time of the 93 Anos de História Red 2011, a wine from the Dão demarcated region that celebrated the "Golden Years" of the decade of 1950/1960.
In the years ahead will be launched seven more wines for a total of 11 limited and numbered bottles which mediate the foundation of Caves São João and its centenary going on 2020.
