Exposition “O Vinho & O Fado” - "The Wine & O Fado" together in the Bairrada Wine Museum
Bringing Contemporary Art with Painting, Sculpture and Photography, the Exhibition "O Vinho & O Fado", whose ambassador is renowned fado singer Ana Moura, was inaugurated last May 18, in the Bairrada Wine Museum in Anadia.
To celebrate International Museum Day, the Bairrada Wine Museum opened in Anadia, the exhibition "O Vinho & O Fado" that combines the symbolic exhibitions: Amália Exhibition of Foundation Amália Rodrigues and Fado Exhibition of Heritage Humanity of Museum Fado.
Besides the permanent exhibition of the Bairrada wine, this cultural exhibition of contemporary art as painting, sculpture and photography, can count on the presence of the creations of more than 50 artists, nationals and internationals, and the strong pedagogical mention of the history of Fado .
In reference to the iconic fado singer Amália Rodrigues, are present in the course of the exhibition, its characteristic personal items donated by the Foundation Amália Rodrigues.
The Verallia Portugal, mark their presence in this exhibition "O Vinho & O Fado" through the work of art of renowned sculptor artist Albano Martins, entitled "Fado short wave" and built with 900 bottles Bordelaise ECOVA Elite in shades of cinnamon and white glass.
The opening of the exhibition, of which is ambassador the singer Ana Moura was led by Engineer Maria Teresa Belém Correia Cardoso, Mayor of Anadia well as the Director of the Museum, Dr. Pedro Dias and will be open to the public until 31 October 2014.
